- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. lemon rind, grated
- 3/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Add sugar and salt to butter and grated lemon rind. Add flour to mixture and make a dough. Knead the dough until bubbles occur, then let rise until double in size.

2Punch down and let rise again.

3Make out into rolls and let rise.

4Bake at 375° until golden brown.
