- 5 lb. baking potatoes
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- butter
Directions

1Peel and cook 5 pounds of

2baking potatoes until tender, about 40 minutes.

3Drain, then mash well.

4Beat together cream cheese and sour cream; gradually beat into mashed potatoes until smooth. Beat in garlic salt and pepper. Turn mixture into a buttered, shallow 3 to 4 quart casserole.

5Dot with butter.

6Cover and chill up to three days.

7To reheat, bring to room temperature. Cover and bake in 400° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.

8Serves 12 to 15.
