- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 minced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp chinese 5-spice powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can coconut milk
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 can garbanzo beans
Directions

1In a wok, heat oil over low heat. Sautee onion until softened. Add garlic, 5-spice powder, cumin, cayenne, turmeric, and 1/2 tsp salt. Sautee, stirring frequently, approx. 1 minutes.

2Whisk in the broth and coconut milk. Simmer. Stir in the potatoes and cook over low heat until they are almost tender. Add chicken, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.

3Add the garbanzo beans and cook until the chicken is done.
