- 9 c. all-purpose flour
- 10 c. cake flour
- 1/3 c. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. butter/shortening
Directions

1Stir baking powder, salt, cream of tartar and sugar into measured flour (sift 3 times).

2Cut in the shortening; work in with fingers until mix is the consistency of cornmeal.

3Store in covered container in cool place.

4Will keep six weeks without refrigeration.
