- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 dash salt
- 1-1/2 cup peas, shelled, boiled and mashed
- 3 oz. cheese, grated

Directions

1Mix maida, 2 tbsp.

2oil, salt and water to make a pliable dough.

3Mix the filling ingredients except salt together well.

4Taste and adjust salt.

5Roll out the maida thinly into a rectangular shape.

6Spread the filling, leaving approximately a 1/4-inch border all around.

7Pat the filling so that it settles.

8Roll it tight.

9Seal the open long edge using a little water.

10Cut into 1-cm.

12Take each slice and press gently between your palms and deep-fry in hot oil until light brown.

13Serve with tomato ketchup.
