Me-Maw’S Deviled Eggs

  • 12 whole Eggs, Hard Boiled And Peeled
  • 6 strips Bacon Cooked Crisp And Crumbled
  • 1 cup (Real) Mayonnaise
  • 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese (no Low Fat Stuff)
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Directions

    Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Using a fork, mash yolks with cream cheese until mixed well. Gradually add mayonnaise until the mixture reaches desired consistency. (I think it will only take about 1/2 cup of mayo, but I never measure; please add gradually to ensure proper consistency of filling.)

    Add bacon and salt and pepper to taste. Spoon or pipe filling into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
