Ingredients

  • 3 lb. hamburger meat
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 1/2 soft bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 tsp. milk
  • 3/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 cans tomato sauce

    Combine first seven ingredients and mix well.

    Shape into 1-inch balls.

    Cook meat balls in hot vegetable oil until brown. Place in baking dish.

    Combine rest in medium saucepan.

    Boil. Cook over low heat one minute.

    Stir.

    Pour sauce over meat balls. Bake in a 325° oven for 30 minutes.
