- 1 c. coarse, whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1 c. grated Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine all ingredients and let stand for 15 minutes.

2Form into balls the size of a walnut or patties.

3Fry until brown. Best if served immediately, but are fine reheated later.

4Can be put in a dish with gravy and reheated if desired.

5(I usually double the amount, they are so good!)
