Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 14 soda crackers, crushed fine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion (as desired)
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Mix well. Roll into balls and brown in a small amount of margarine.

    After browned good, drain fat out and add some water and bouillon cube (1), more if more water is used.

    Simmer 1/2 hour and make thickening for gravy. Salt and pepper to taste.
