  • 1 med. size cabbage
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Wilt cabbage in boiling water.

    Pull leaves apart.
  3. 3
    Mix all the ingredients together, and roll a handful in each leaf.

    Pack in Dutch oven on a rack.

    Cover with boiling water.

    Cook 2 hrs on a low fire, or possibly, precook the rice, roll as usual, pack in pressure cooker (4 qt), add in 1/2 c. warm water.

    Cook 10 min.
