- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 2 small pieces garlic
- 1 can sauerkraut
- 1 can tomato soup
Directions

1Dip cabbage leaves in hot water until wilted; drain.

2Combine meat, salt, pepper, rice and garlic; mix well.

3Place 2 tablespoons of meat mixture in each cabbage leaf.

4Roll leaf around meat and fasten with toothpick.

5Place sauerkraut in bottom of pan.

6Lay rolls on top.

7Pour tomato soup and tomato paste over all.

8Add enough water to cover.

9Cook slowly for 1 hour at 350°.
