  • 2 1/2 lb. ground chuck meat
  • 10 soda crackers
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 medium onion

Directions

    Put ground chuck in a large bowl.

    Cut up onion fine; mash up crackers in buttermilk.

    Let crackers get real soft.

    Add to meat. Add egg, pepper and salt.

    Then add ketchup; mix real good and bake about 1 hour at 400°.

    Then drain good and put more ketchup on top and bake another 15 minutes.
