Ingredients

  • 3 lbs ground beef
  • 1 12 cups breadcrumbs (I use Pepperidge Farms herb Seasoned Stuffing)
  • 12 large onion
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 12 red bell pepper
  • 34 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lousianna hot sauce
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 12 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Directions

    Combine beef and breadcrumbs by hand.

    In a food processer fine chop onion, carrot, garlic and bell pepper.

    Combine vegetables with the beef.

    Mix in 3/4 cup ketchup, worcestershire, hot sauce, cayenne, salt and pepper.

    Spread evenly in a 9x13 glass cake pan.

    Mix topping ingredients and spread evenly over the top.

    Bake at 375 to an internal temp of 160.

    Drain fat at 3/4 of cooking time and when you pull it out of the oven.

    Let stand for 10 minutes then serve.
