Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. chopped meat
  • 2 eggs, chopped fine
  • 2 small onions
  • 3/4 to 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 c. parsley flakes
  • about 1 to 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery or 1 Tbsp. seed
  • dry gravy mix or 2 cans tomato soup

Directions

    Add to meat the eggs, onions, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, poultry seasoning, milk and parsley flakes.

    Mix well and shape in pan to get a nice slice when cooked.

    Mix no-fat dry gravy with water and 1/4 cup vinegar.

    Cover over meat about 1-inch in pan and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350°.

    Serve with baked potatoes and vegetable.
