  • 3/4 c. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • catsup

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except catsup.

    Form into loaf.

    Cover bottom of baking dish with catsup (about 1/2 inch deep).

    Place in preheated 350° oven and bake approximately 1 hour.

    The catsup and juices from the meat blend and make a wonderful tomato sauce to serve over meat loaf.
