  • 2 pounds Ground Pork
  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 whole Large Onions, Chopped
  • 5 cups Water, Divided
  • 2 Tablespoons Sausage Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 pinch Sage
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 3/4 cups Flour
  • 4 whole Pie Crusts In Pie Pans
  • 4 packages Rolled Pie Crust

Directions

    Cook meat and onions in a big soup pot until meat is no longer pink.

    Add 4 cups of the water, heat to a boil.

    Add seasonings.

    Dissolve flour in the remaining 1 cup of water.

    Slowly add water and flour mixture to the boiling meat and seasoning pot, stirring constantly.

    Pour into 4 prepared pie pans (with crust).

    Top with rolled pie crust.

    Cut slits in the top crust.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    Eat right away or freeze.

    To reheat pie after freezing, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
