- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 paste cans water
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- salt and pepper
- spatine seasoning (optional)
- oregano
- 1 lb. ground beef
Directions

1In a large cooking pot, saute onion in oil. Combine next 5 ingredients. Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours, stirring often.

2Cook meat until done and light brown. Drain and add meat, spatine and a little oregano to sauce.

3Cook about 20 minutes longer.

4Use with spaghetti, lasagna, etc.
