Ingredients

  • 1 lb. chopped meat (the cheap stuff; $1.69 to $1.79 per lb.)
  • 3/4 c. flavored breadcrumbs (preferably Italian flavor)
  • water
  • 1 egg
  • olive oil

Directions

    Add enough water to the breadcrumbs to make them solidly mushy.

    (I know that's an oxymoron, but it's the best explanation I can think of.)

    Add the mushy breadcrumbs to the chopped meat. Add egg and mix thoroughly.

    Roll into balls.
