- 1 each meatballs
- 4 carrots peeled and cut into pieces
- 2 each celery stalks cut into pieces with strings removed
- 3 each potatoes pared and cubed
- 16 ounces tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon beef stock
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 each bay leaves
- 3/4 cup water
Directions

1Prepare basic meatballs except -- cook in a Dutch oven.

2Drain off excess fat.

3Add the remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.

4Reduce the heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 40 minutes.

5Remove the bay leaf and serve.
