Ingredients

  • 1 each meatballs
  • 4 carrots peeled and cut into pieces
  • 2 each celery stalks cut into pieces with strings removed
  • 3 each potatoes pared and cubed
  • 16 ounces tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon beef stock
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 each bay leaves
  • 3/4 cup water

Directions

    Prepare basic meatballs except -- cook in a Dutch oven.

    Drain off excess fat.

    Add the remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.

    Reduce the heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 40 minutes.

    Remove the bay leaf and serve.
