- 1 lb. ground beef
- egg
- 1 slice white bread, coarsely crumbled
- generous dash of pepper
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 c. cooked wide noodles
Directions

1Mix beef, onion, egg, bread, salt and pepper; shape into 16 meatballs.

2Brown in skillet (use shortening if needed).

3Pour off drippings.

4Add soup and water.

5Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring now and then.

6Blend in sour cream.

7Heat.

8Serve over noodles.
