Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 2 c. oatmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, chopped or 1/4 c. dried minced onion flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 c. ketchup
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. minced onion flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

    Combine ingredients and make meatballs. Make your sauce separately by combining ingredients until smooth in a separate bowl. Put your meatballs in a large broiler pan or cookie sheet; pour half of your sauce mixture over them and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes or until lightly brown.

    Cover meatballs with remaining sauce when you put them in a crock-pot on low.
