Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 3 Vidalia sweet onions
  • Italian seasonings
  • bay leaves
  • garlic powder
  • large can Hunt's tomato sauce
  • 7 slices old bread
  • rigatoni noodles
  • 1 egg
  • Mozzarella, shredded or fresh Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Mix beef, sausage, bread and egg. Add onions, Italian seasonings and garlic powder. Mix well.

    Roll into golf ball size balls. Pour tomato sauce into deep pan; add bay leaf or two. Add meatballs and cook for 2 hours.

    Serve over noodles. Sprinkle with cheese.
