  • 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 c. bread crumbs
  • 3 slices French bread, soaked in milk, squeezed and shredded
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tsp. fennel
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 6 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Thaw ground turkey.

    In a bowl, combine the turkey, egg, bread crumbs, lemon peel, parsley, fennel, peppers, garlic and Parmesan cheese.

    Shape into large meatballs.

    Place in baking dish.

    Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes or until crispy and brown.
