- thin sliced chuck or sirloin steak
- diced bacon
- sliced dill pickles
- salt
- pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 tomato
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Beat steak with pounder or mallet.

2Fill steak with diced bacon and pickle slices.

3Salt and pepper.

4Roll each steak and hold together with toothpicks.

5In pan add oil, tomato and onion. Lay meat on top; brown on both sides.

6Fill pan with water until rolls are covered; salt to taste.

7Cook until done, about 1 hour (depending on size of pan) until fork feels it is done.

8Remove meat rolls from pan and add flour; make gravy.

9Return meat rolls to pan and warm.

10Serve with mashed potatoes and red cabbage.
