  • 1 can Luck's October beans (use the whole can, without fat; can substitute plain pinto beans)
  • 1 can Van Camp's New Orleans style red kidney beans
  • 2 diced onions
  • 1/2 qt. tomato juice
  • chopped fresh or canned tomatoes, as desired
  • 1 hot pepper, chopped

Directions

    Combine ingredients, adding water as needed for chili consistency.

    Add chili powder, salt and black pepper to taste. Heat and simmer as long as desired.
