Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 slice bread, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon season salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

Directions

    Mix first ten ingredients until well incorporated (use your hands for best results).

    Add more tomato sauce a little at a time if meatloaf mixture is too dry.

    Spray bottom and sides of loaf pan with cooking spray.

    Place meatloaf into pan and shape into bread loaf shape.

    Pour remaining 1/4 cup tomato sauce over top of loaf.

    Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until juices run clear or meat is no longer pink when you cut into it.
