  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. catsup or tomato paste
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano, crumbled fine

Directions

    Place meat, milk, bread crumbs and garlic salt in a 9-inch pie pan and mix together thoroughly.

    Pat mixture evenly on bottom and sides of pan.

    Spread catsup or tomato paste over meat mixture and arrange mushrooms evenly on top.

    Cover with shredded Cheddar cheese and sprinkle oregano and Parmesan cheese evenly over all. Bake in a very hot oven at 450° for 20 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
