Mediterranean Stir-Fried Beef

  • 1/2 pound beef, round steak boneless
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons onions dried, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 18 teaspoon red pepper flakes ground
  • 6 ounces pasta, linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 ounces vegetables frozen, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced, fresh
  • 1 x parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated

    Partially freeze beef, thinly slice across grain into bite-size strips.

    Combine water, vinegar, onion, pepper and red pepper.

    Add meat, mix well.

    Marinate 15 minutes at room temperature.

    Cook pasta.

    Drain; toss with butter.

    Drain meat, reserving marinade.

    Stir cornstarch into reserved marinade; set aside.

    Stir-fry garlic in 2 tablespoons oil for 30 seconds.
