  • One 3-by-1-inch rectangle of seedless watermelon, plus 1 watermelon triangle for garnish
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounces anejo tequila
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla vodka
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grenadine
  • Ice
  • 1 to 2 ounces chilled club soda

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, muddle the seedless watermelon rectangle with the sugar.

    Add the anejo tequila, lime juice, vanilla vodka and grenadine and shake well.

    Strain the drink into an ice-filled highball glass and top with a large splash of chilled club soda.

    Garnish the cocktail with the watermelon triangle.
