- 3 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Add salt to egg whites.

2Beat until fairly stiff.

3Add sugar gradually.

4Add vanilla and fold in nuts.

5Drop by large serving spoon onto greased cookie sheet.

6Make hole in middle.

7Bake for 50 to 60 minutes in 250° oven until firm and dry.

8Fill with anything you like: whipped cream with Heath bar shavings is very good.

9Make any size you want by varying size dropped, so long as you make shell for filling.
