- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
Directions

1For tart shells: beat butter and cream cheese until smooth.

2Add flour, mix until soft dough forms.

3Cover, chill at least 1 hour or overnight.

4Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

5Shape dough into 1 inch balls, place into mini-muffin pan.

6form into little shells with floured fingers. (this is where the tart shaper comes in handy!).

7For Filling: Mix the rest of the ingrediants well.

8Fill tart shells evenly with mixture.

9Bake 20-25 minute or until a light, golden brown.

10Remove from pan and place on cooling rack.

11Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
