- 6 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Beat together until frothy the egg whites and cream of tartar. Gradually beat in sugar, a little at a time.

2Beat until very stiff and glossy.

3Drop by small spoonfuls in a circle on brown paper on baking sheet.

4Bake at 275° for 1 hour.

5Then turn oven off and leave in oven until oven has cooled.

6Serve filled with ice cream and fresh berries.
