  • 2 c. dried pinto beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • chili pepper (to taste)
  • 1 fresh green chili, cut up
  • 1 yellow chili, cut up
  • 1 can Ortega green chilies, cut up
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, fried
  • 1/2 stick butter

Directions

    Cook beans with onion until almost done.

    Add garlic salt, pepper, cumin, salt, pepper, green chili, yellow chili and green chilies and cook 15 minutes.

    Add tomatoes, ground beef and butter.

    Cook 30 minutes longer.
