Ingredients
- pastry for 9-inch 2 crust pie
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 c. sliced stuffed olives
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can Spanish-style tomato sauce
Directions

1Line 9-inch pie plate with half of the pastry.

2Heat oil in skillet; saute onion and green pepper 5 minutes.

3Add beef; cook until browned, stirring frequently.

4Add seasonings and tomato sauce; cook over low heat 15 minutes.

5Let cool.

6Add olives. Turn mixture into pastry shell.

7Roll out remaining pastry; cut into thin strips.

8Arrange over meat in lattice pattern.

9Bake in preheated 400° oven 35 to 40 minutes or until pastry is well browned.

10Yields 5 or 6 servings.
