- 4 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. white Karo
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Boil together 3 cups sugar, 1 cup milk and 2 tablespoons white Karo.

2Then in iron skillet, put remaining 1 cup sugar.

3Heat, stirring until sugar is melted.

4This is called caramelizing.

5Add caramelized sugar to other mixture.

6Cook until forms soft ball in cold water.

7Remove from heat.

8Add pecans and beat until creamed. Drop on waxed paper.

9If hardens before you get all dropped, add a little boiling water to it and stir until creamy.
