Ingredients

  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1-inch stick cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. ground coffee
  • 2 sq. sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Heat milk to scalding with the stick of cinnamon and the coffee. Strain and add the chocolate dissolved in the boiling water.

    Heat again to the boiling point.

    Remove and add the vanilla and salt. Stir and serve hot with whipped cream or marshmallows.
