- 2 c. yellow corn meal
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 8 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 beaten eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 large onion
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

3Beat together eggs, milk and oil.

4Add to corn meal mixture along with cheese, onion, corn and garlic. Stir until just combined.

5Pour into two greased 8 x 8-inch pans. Bake 20 to 30 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
