  • 16 oz. Marie Calendar's cornbread mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/4 ??? jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
  • 8 slices thick Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients together.

    Pour 1/2 the batter into greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

    Place 8 thick slices of cheese evenly over the batter and top with jalapeno peppers.

    Pour remaining batter over the filling.

    Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
