  • 3 c. self-rising cornmeal, sifted
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 1/2 c. creamed corn (canned)
  • 1 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
