  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 6 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 3/4 c. jalapeno peppers, finely chopped

Directions

    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except cheese and peppers.

    Add grated cheese and jalapeno peppers.

    Pour into two 9 x 12-inch pans or one 12 x 18-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes.
