  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. or 1 small can cream-style corn
  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped

    Pour oil in skillet and spread to cover.
