- 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 2/3 c. salad oil
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 large hot pepper
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Combine cornmeal, onions, eggs, corn, oil, buttermilk, peppers and salt and mix until well blended. Spoon half of mixture into greased loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch). Sprinkle with half the cheese.

3Repeat layers, ending with cheese. Bake for 45 minutes or until done.

4Cool.
