  • 3 c. self-rising meal
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 hot pepper chopped or (jalapeno pepper in jar that are sliced-chop about 1/4 c.)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 green bell pepper

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Bake in iron skillet like cornbread.

    If you don't like it real sticky, use 1/2 can cream style corn and 1/2 can whole kernel corn.
