- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cans green chilies
Directions

1Mix the first five ingredients in a bowl and add egg, milk, cottage cheese and cooking oil.

2Pour 1/2 of the batter into a well-greased pan.

3Add grated cheese and green chilies.

4Add remaining batter.

5Cook at 400° for 30 to 45 minutes.

6Good with chili.
