- 2 cups flour
- 23 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 13 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 12 cups blueberries, rinsed, drained and patted dry
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 13 cup coarse sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375F Line muffin tin with paper cups, set aside.

2In a medium bowl, stir together all dry ingredients except coarse sugar.

3Make a well in the center and set aside.

4In a small bowl, beat eggs.

5Stir in milk, the 1/3 C melted butter, and vanilla.

6Add egg mixture all at once to the flour mixture.

7Stir until just moistened (batter should and will be lumpy).

8Gently fold in blueberries.

9Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full.

10Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tops are golden brown.

11Place muffins on racks.

12Brush tops with the extra melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar.

13Serve warm.
