- 2 c. cornmeal
- 1 (8 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 c. milk
- 1 small onion
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 11/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well, except cheese.

2Pour 1/2 of mixture into well-greased skillet.

3Spread the cheese over this evenly. Add remaining mixture over cheese.

4Bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes.
