- 1 1/2 c. cornmeal (plain)
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green peppers
- 1 c. sharp cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except cheese in a large mixing bowl. Stir well.

2Pour half of mixture into a greased skillet; top with cheese.

3Add remaining mixture.

4Bake at 450° for 30 minutes or until done.

5Bake in a 10 or 12-inch skillet.
