  • 1 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3 to 4 jalapeno peppers, chopped, remove seeds
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Mix all dry ingredients.

    Add other ingredients, mix well. Pour into greased hot skillet.

    Bake at 400° about 30 minutes or until done.
