- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. whole kernel cream-style corn
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2/3 c. salad oil
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 small can green jalapeno peppers
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Combine first 7 ingredients.

2Mix well.

3Pour half of batter in 9-inch pan.

4Seed jalapeno peppers and cut open one side.

5Lay flat on top of batter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of grated cheese. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup grated cheese. Bake for 1 hour in 350° oven.

6Serve hot.
