- 1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Mix all ingredients except for cheese. Pour half of mixture into a well-greased pan.

3Sprinkle on all cheese.

4Add remaining mixture.

5Bake for 45 minutes.
